Tom has begun doing a half-hour radio program on WebtalkRadio.net discussing the Underground Railroad with some of the most important individuals in the research and preservation community. Click on the link above and it will take you to the page where you can listen to the shows, all of which are archived. There also is a link on the home page.
His proposal to do a study of the early accounts of the Underground Railroad that had been accepted by Kickstarter.com, the non-profit foundation of Amazon.com, which provides applicants with an opportunity and a forum to raise funds to support a creative project will soon be launched. It was delayed while he prepared the start up of the radio program.
The study which he is asking to be funded involves issues covered in two papers that are available on this site, and which are linked in the menu on the left. This study will be the culmination of his work on the study of the Underground Railroad. It will, in his opinion, answer some of the unanswered questions about the extent and organization of the Underground Railroad, questions that most mainstream historians believe are unanswerable, or not worth pursuing.
